Minnie Ida Hollingsworth

Funeral services for Minnie Ida (Davis) Hollingsworth, 94, of Broken Arrow, were held Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Pastor John Syverson officiated and burial was in Osage Gardens Cemetery in Skiatook, OK. Casket bearers were Jake Remington, John Hollingsworth, Shannon Remington and Mark Blumenthal. Honorary casket bearers were J.R. Hollingsworth, Gene Robinson, and Howard Hunter.

Minnie was born February 12, 1921 in Skiatook, OK to Harry and Audie Marie (Hughey) Davis. She passed away February 6, 2016 in Broken Arrow, OK.

Minnie was an active member of the Turley United Methodist Church. She is remembered for being a good listener and her love of family.

She is survived by her daughter, Juanita Rittenhouse and husband Glenn of Broken Arrow; grandchildren, Jeneen Holland and husband Matthew of Owasso; John Hollingsworth and wife Sarah of Tulsa and Tara Berndt and husband Rivers of Glenpool; great-grandchildren, Adam, Faith, Sophie, Violet and Sammie; daughter-in-law, Barbara Cryer and husband Lonnie of Owasso; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Hollingsworth; sisters, Mary Davis and Melissa Elder; brothers, Raymond, Felton and Randolph; and son, Curtis Leo Hollingsworth.
