Funeral Services for Milo Thulin, 89, of Sperry, were held Monday, September 22, 2014 at the Sperry United Pentecostal Church in Sperry, OK. The Reverend Kevin Erickson and Reverend Todd Jenkins officiated and burial was in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Casket Bearers were Ted Jones, Mickey Thulin, Jr., John Michael Carr, Trey Thulin, Micah Carr, and Christopher Morrow. Honorary Casket Bearers were Brother Kerr, Andrew Bohanan, Brother Kevin Neil, Stephen Corley, and Scott Hilton. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
Milo was born March 23, 1925 in Sperry, OK to Alexander and Mary (Allen) Thulin. He passed away September 17, 2014 in Sperry, OK.
Milo retired from Sneed Oil Company after 40 years as an oil field worker. He was a member of the Sperry United Pentecostal Church. Milo was a man who took joy in the simple things in life, and took great joy in laughing and pestering anyone with a smile He liked growing a large garden that he shared with his family and friends. Milo enjoyed nothing more than sitting outside and admiring the outdoors. He loved meals and coffee time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his son, Micky Thulin, Sr. and wife Donna of Sapulpa; daughters, Hazel Thulin of Sperry, Sonja Thulin of Tulsa, and Fern Hilton and husband Mike of Sperry; granddaughters, Donneda Estes and husband Bill of Mannford, Jody Carr and husband John of Sperry, Yolanda Perez and husband Javier of Tulsa, Cathy Hilton of Sperry, Stefanie Switzner and husband James of Tulsa, and Nikki Bohanan and husband Andrew of Sperry; grandsons, Micky Thulin, Jr. and wife Tammy of Owasso and James Thulin of Oklahoma City; 19 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; two brothers; three sisters; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Thulin; parents, Alex and Mary Thulin; brothers, Ed Thulin, Clay Thulin, and Monroe Thulin; and an infant sister.
