Funeral services for Michael Wade McKee, 50, of Skiatook, OK, were held Friday, June 3, 2022, at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Phillip Johnson officiated, and burial was in Osage Gardens Cemetery in Skiatook, OK. Casket bearers were Donnie McKee, James Hurst, Darryl McKee, Danny Stafford, and Jordan Ternes. Honorary Casket bearers were Kody McKee, Jacob McKee, Doyle Almack, and Justin Bolen.

Wade was born July 8, 1971, in Wichita, KS, to Donald Lee McKee and Rita Evelyn (Housdon) Selby. He passed away May 29, 2022, in Tulsa, OK.

Wade was a laborer by trade and was a roofer for 30 years. He loved to tinker on all kinds of things, as well as rebuilding car engines, and lawn mowers. Wade worked hard and always gave 100% to his job. Wade loved his wife, children, mother, brothers, and sister so very much.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy McKee of the home; daughters, Kelsey, and husband, Geoff, of Cheney, KS, and Kayla Stafford, and husband, Danny, of Claremore; sons, Kody McKee and wife, Jamie, of Cheney, KS, and Jacob McKee of the home; 5 grandchildren; mother, Rita Selby and stepdad, Doyle Almack of Wichita, KS; father, Don McKee and wife, Julie, of Wichita, KS; sister, Tammy and husband, James of Fall River, KS; brothers, Donnie McKee and wife, Penny of Owasso, Darryl McKee of Wichita, KS, and Chad Poe of Wichita, KS ; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ruby Foraker, Buck Housdon, Francis Herrman, and William McKee.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
