Funeral services for Michael Eugene “Mike” Holcomb, 45, of Sperry, were held Friday, January 23, 2015 at Sperry Christian Church in Sperry, OK. Pastor Adam Stang and Pastor Cletus Coe officiated and burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Casket bearers were Todd Helms, Ben Page, Jesi Owen, Bill Alexander, Jimmy Seago, Joe Bridgeman, Taylor Garner, and John Wayne Duke Hamlin.

Mike was born October 25, 1969 in Tulsa, OK to Stanley Gene Holcomb. He passed away January 18, 2015 in Sperry, OK.

Mike was a firefighter, police officer, and paramedic for 17 years. He was also a police captain with the Oklahoma Military Department. Running the 4X Ranch was Mike’s passion and pride. He coached football and baseball for his boys for several years, and loved hunting, fishing, horses and team roping. Mike was a member of the USTRC and the IPRA team roping and rodeo associations, the National Wild Turkey Federation, and the Justice League.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Holcomb; children, Cody Holcomb and wife Ashley, Casey Holcomb and fiancé Casey Smith, and Cheyenne Holcomb; aunt, Deanna Baumgarten; father, Gene Holcomb and wife Sandy; grandchildren, Ryah Holcomb and Reiney Holcomb; sister, Sharay Henry and husband Ron; brothers, Travis Dean, Jason Holcomb and wife Misty, Dustin Holcomb and wife Brianna and Cole Holcomb; step-brother, Jimmy Goldesberry and wife Tammy; nine nieces and nephews; best friends, Todd Helms, Joe Bridgeman and wife Missy, Bill Alexander, and Ben Page; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Stanley and Imogene Holcomb; and uncle, Joey Holcomb.
