Melissa Ann (Bowman) Horry

Memorial Services for Melissa Ann (Bowman) Horry, 41, of Tulsa, were held Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at the North Lewis United Pentecostal Church in Tulsa, OK. Pastor Wesley Witcher and Reverend Doyle Kerr officiated. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.

Melissa was born November 17, 1968 in Logansport, IN to Earl Franklin Bowman, Sr. and Kathryon Virgina (Randels) Fields. She passed away March 9, 2010 in Tulsa, OK.

Melissa was a homemaker who enjoyed crafts and music. She loved giving presents to everyone.

She is survived by her son, Jeromy Cole Horry of Tulsa; daughter, Sheila Marie Horry of Tulsa; mother, Kitty Fields of Tulsa; father, Frank Bowman, Sr. of Tulsa; brothers, Frank Bowman, Jr. and wife Rachael of Hectorville, OK, and John Bowman of Tulsa; sister, Cindy Charles and husband Mark, Sr. of Sand Springs; grandmother, Mattie Wyant of Tulsa; aunts, Donna Cormican of Tulsa and Patsy Randels of Gainsville, TX; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Gregory Mark Horry.
