Funeral Services for Mary Kathleen "Kathy" Spurgeon, 48, of Turley, were held Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at the Sperry Christian Church in Sperry, OK. The Reverend Adam Stang officiated and burial was in the Osage Gardens Cemetery in Skiatook, OK. Casket Bearers were Randy Corley, Jr., Jeremiah Corley, Jason Ingalls, Billy Hutchcraft, Daryl Owens, and Robert Stevens. Honorary Casket Bearers were Phillip Peevyhouse, and Vernon Eastin. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.

Mary was born August 3, 1960 in Tulsa, OK to Jim Edward and Nadine (Staley) Lee. She passed away July 12, 2009 in Tulsa, OK.

She was a press operator for Green Country Submersible Pumps. Her hobbies included photography, sewing, crafts, gardening and spending time with his grandchildren. Mary also won several awards for her photography across the nation. She was outgoing and sociable with her many, many friends.

She is survived by her husband, James Spurgeon of Turley; mother, Nadine Lee of Turley; daughters, Misty Ingalls of Pea Ridge, AR, Wynema Hutchcraft of Skiatook; sons, Randy Corley, Jr. of Skiatook; Daryl Owens of Apache and Jeremiah Corley of Turley; 13 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brother, Robert Stevens of Turley; aunt, Peggy Dorn of Tulsa; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jim Edward Lee; brother, Jim Edward Lee, II; and sister, Lavona Sue Larkins.
