Mary Stella Gann

Funeral Services for Mary Stella Gann, 91, of Sperry, were held Friday, February 13, 2009 at the Friends Church in Ramona, OK. Brother Carl Stage, Pastor, Wynona Pentecostal Holiness Church officiated and burial was in the Ramona Cemetery in Ramona, OK. Casket Bearers were James M. Gann, Reuben S. Gann, Aaron W. Gann, Kenny R. Gann, Dennis J. Gann, and Tony D. Gann. Honorary Casket Bearers were her grandsons, grandsons-in-law, great-grandsons and nephews. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.

Mary was born November 5, 1917 in Collinsville, OK to James Cletus Corder and Bernie Lou (Cox) Corder Parks. She passed away February 10, 2009 in Claremore, OK.

Mary was a loving wife, mother and homemaker and lived most of her life in Ramona. She also worked in private duty nursing and for Jane Phillips Hospital for many years. She devoted her life to her family and friends.

She is survived by her sons, James M. Gann and wife Rosemary of Big Cabin, OK, Wesley L. Gann and wife Iva of Jennings, OK, Kenneth W. Gann and wife Debra of Sperry, and Eddie L. Gann of Ramona; six grandsons, Jimmy, Reubin, Aaron, Kenny, Dennis and Tony Gann; seven granddaughters, Shelia Mason, Andrea Gann, Karena Noble, Teena Anderson, Kendra Gann, Christina Gann, and Mary Lynn Gann; twenty-nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Cletus and Bernie(Cox) Corder Parks; step-father, William "Bill" Parks; one brother; two sisters; and two daughters-in-law.
