Marvin Joe Beard

Memorial services for Marvin Joe Beard, 55, of Sperry, were held Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Pastor Adam Stang officiated.

Marvin was born December 28, 1960 in Willits, CA to Billie Joe and Violet Marie (Long) Beard. He passed away May 1, 2016 in Sperry, OK.

Marvin worked as a machinist. He enjoyed hunting deer, fishing, and camping with his family. Marvin loved spending time with his kids and grandkids.

He is survived by his children, Amanda Brown, Jason Beard, Amy Beard and Caitlyn Beard; 16 grandchildren; sisters, Rose James and Linda Jones; mother, Violet Beard; six nieces; nephew and best friend, Matt Roberts; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Beard.
