Martin Martinez

Memorial services for Martin Martinez, 39, of Tulsa, OK, were held Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Phil Johnson officiated. Honorary Casket bearers were Ruben Aguilar, Cayden Martinez, Abel Martinez, Jeremy Stewart, Juan Martinez and Terry Fitzgerald.

Martin was born February 27, 1985, in Loma Linda, CA, to Martin Silva and Eva (Escandon) Martinez. He passed away May 18, 2024, in Tulsa, OK.

Martin was a hard worker and was a concrete finisher for many years. He was an amazing husband and father and loved being able to do things with his son. Martin made many friends, and enjoyed listening to music, singing karaoke, and drinking KD. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was a very giving person. 

He is survived by his wife, Jessica Martinez; son, Cayden Martinez; father, Martin Silva; mother, Eva Martinez; sister, Estella Ocha; brother, Abel Martinez; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his aunts, Lynn Escandon, Jessica Davis, Jessica Martinez, and Lydia Richards; uncles, Ruben Martinez and Mario Escandon; and his grandparents; and cousin, Tony Martinez.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
