Martha Belle Hicks

Graveside services for Martha Belle (Buchanan) Hicks, 94, of Collinsville, OK were held Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville, OK. Reverend David Payne officiated.

Martha was born November 16, 1925 to Dr. David William and Anna Ruth (Leonard) Buchanan. She passed away July 19, 2020 in Claremore, OK.

Martha taught art classes for several years. She was an avid quilter and loved going to art shows. Martha was also an oil painting artist. She was a great cook and enjoyed reading. She was deeply knowledgeable about worldly things. She loved her dear friends very much,

She is survived by her friends, Effie and Claud Lenard and Arlene Branen, and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ross Eugene Hicks, Jr., and parents, Dr. David and Anna Buchanan.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
