Marion Walter Leon "Peanut" Thrasher

Marion Walter Leon “Peanut” Thrasher, 48, of Porum, OK, was born June 20, 1973, in McAlester, OK, to Marion Walter Leon Thrasher and Rebecca Mae Carney. He passed away January 1, 2022, in Tulsa, OK.

Peanut was a loving brother, father, and friend. He was a jack of all trades. Peanut loved working out on the ranch with the animals and coming home every night to see his faithful tail-wagging friend, Tucker. He will be missed by many but never forgotten

He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Easterling of Warner, Mercedes Easterling of Warner, and Karrie Thrasher of Warner; several grandchildren; brother, Chris Thrasher and wife, Deborah of Tulsa; nieces, BridgetAnn Nicole Tatum of Muskogee, Myrissa Yeaman of IL; nephews, Charles Yeaman of KY, and Johnathon Yeaman of Tulsa; great-niece, Nicole Tatum of Muskogee; his forever hero, James Carney; several cousins; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Rebecca Carney; aunt, Rose Carney; uncle, James Carney, Sr.; and cousin, Josh Carney.
