Memorial Services for Mabel Ann (Turcotte) McCurry, 88, of Tulsa, were held Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at Grace Church in Tulsa, OK. Reverend Bob Yandian and Reverend Geoff Jackson officiated and burial was in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, OK. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
Mabel was born December 17, 1921 in Pekin, ND to Arthur and Mary (Pare) Turcotte. She passed away April 3, 2010 in Tulsa, OK.
Mabel was a homemaker, and long time church volunteer. She also volunteered serving food at Loaves and Fishes Ministry. She enjoyed walking, swimming, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Wayne Miller and wife Diane of Key West, FL; daughters, Diane Murphree and husband Andy of Bixby and Nancy Pfeifer and husband Phil of Coweta; grandchildren, Maribeth Miller of Beloit, WI, Amy Loudenbeck and husband Matt of Clinton, IL, Misty Miller of Lansing, MI, Tony Whitham and wife Bethani of Broken Arrow, Daniel Murphree of Bixby, and Allison Murphree of Bixby; great-grandchildren Abigail Perkins, Samantha Whitham, Zachary Whitham and Madelyn Whitham; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert McCurry; parents, Arthur and Mary Turcotte; sister, Flora Ensrud; and brother, Jimmy Turcotte.
