Funeral Services for Lorine "PeeWee" Jobe-Poper, 82, of Sperry, were held Saturday, November 8, 2008 at the Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. The Reverend Doyle Kerr and Reverend Wesley Witcher officiated and burial was in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Casketbearers were Shannon Hagan, James Mears, Scotty Hagan, Michael Jobe, Justin Hagan and Darrel Cole. Honorary Casketbearers were Rodney Gaston, Joey Cole, Ricky Jobe, and Kelley Gibbons. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.

Lorine was born November 2, 1926 in Tulsa, OK to Henry Luther and Lina Viola (Robertson) Weston. She passed away November 5, 2008 in Tulsa, OK.

She was a full time mother and homemaker. She was a member of the United Pencostal Church on North Lewis. Lorine was known as "Granny" and she enjoyed spending her time sewing, collecting knickknacks, and watching the birds and squirrels with her grandchildren. Granny also enjoyed cooking, trips to the thrift stores and going to Captain D's. She loved her special visits from her great-grandchildren: Devin and Tyler Jobe, and Faith Cole. She also enjoyed her visits from James "Slick", Norma Jean and Lenoria. She loved the time she had with her twin sister Corine, who was known as "Biggin," and who passed away earlier this year. She loved the long talks and the special bond she had with her sister.

She is survived by her; sons, Freddy Poper, Ronnie Jobe, Roy L. Jobe, and James Mears; daughters, Geneva Hagan, Evelyn Taylor and husband Miles, Pat Burnett, and Heidi Poper; grandchildren, Ashlie Poper, Jordan Poper, Mikenze Poper, Destiny Poper, Michael Jobe, Ricky Jobe, Angie Kirkendall, Justin Hagan, Shannon Hagan, Scotty Hagan, Julie McFarlend, Bobby Poper, Janice Burnett, Andrew Poper, Andrea Fort, Adrian Taylor, and Raymond Taylor; sisters, Agatha Wise and Edna Stowe; 26 great-grandchildren,2 great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Poper; son Leslie Poper; granddaughter Rhonda Williams; parents, Henry and Lina Weston; sisters, Corine Higgins, Virginia Hale, Barbara Allen, and Zella Rogers; brothers, Orville Weston, Harold Weston, Mathew Weston, and Junior Edward Weston.
