Loretta (Simmons) Horine

Loretta (Simmons) Horine, 73, of Hominy, OK, was born August 15, 1949, in Broken Arrow, OK to Raymond Russell Simmons and Bernice Lucille (Plunk) Simmons. She passed away February 3, 2023, in Old Prue, OK.

Loretta was a certified respiratory therapist for many years. She was a huge Willie Nelson fan and part of his fan club. Loretta loved Native American artifacts, jewelry, and other items. She loved Jesus and attending church. Loretta was able to go on a couple of cruises and absolutely loved it. She especially loved spending time at the lake and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Horton of Hominy, and Leslie Horine of Old Prue; grandchildren, Thomas Horton, Ashlyn Hendrix, Megan Owensby, Jeremiah Owensby, Lily Driscoll, and Lane Horine; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Ronda Madewell and husband, Kennie of Skiatook; numerous nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rachel Renee Horine; grandson, Dariel Horton; parents, Raymond and Bernice Simmons; and brothers, Tyrone, Dariel, and Terry.

Arrangements were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
