Memorial services for Linda Kay (Brown) Hooper, 74, of Sand Springs, OK, were held Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Phillip Johnson officiated, and burial was in Green Acres Memorial Gardens in Skiatook, OK. Honorary Casket bearers were Matthew Skinner, Maverick Jones, Jacob Skinner, Quinn Jones, and Skylynn Deshazo.
Linda was born September 14, 1944 in Tuscumbia, MO to Clarence William and Burla Bell (Blankenship) Brown. She passed away May 7, 2019 in Sand Springs, OK.
Linda was a dispatcher for the Bristow Police Department and Creek County. She enjoyed going to the casino, country dancing, reading, and playing games on her iPad. In her younger days, Linda enjoyed sewing. Linda loved spending time with her family and helping with her grandkids.
She is survived by her daughter, Marsha Turner and husband, Robb; son, Tim Hooper; son-in-law, Biff Huckaby; grandchildren, Dustin Jones, Brittany Horn, Cami Huckaby, Kaycie Reynolds and husband, Austin, Matthew Skinner, and Jacob Skinner; great-grandchildren, Maverick Jones, Quinn Jones, Skylynn Deshazo; sister, Dean Hooper, and Nora Goertz; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sondra Huckaby; granddaughter, Danielle Skinner; siblings, Olive, Fern, Georgia, Herb, Wendy, John, Bobby, Margie and Marshall.
Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
