Lillie was born February 21, 1944 in Spring Valley, AR to Charles I. and Henrietta (Ingmire) Van Winkle. She passed away November 20, 2013 in Broken, Arrow, OK.
Lillie Ann was disabled and lived with her mother and nephew David Brown, until her mother’s passing. She then lived with her niece and her family until her own passing. Lillie was a great help with everything, then her health slowed her down. She helped take care of her nieces, nephews, and even close family friends and their children. Lillie loved children, conversation, sitting on the porch and music; especially the King of Rock and Roll – Elvis Presley. She used to really shake it. Lillie had lots of things that she collected over the years, and loved it all. She was surrounded by many loved ones, and made a giant impression on everyone. Lillie was a precious soul.
She is survived by her brother, James Van Winkle and wife Patricia of Bristow; sisters, Mary Bennett and husband Perry of Tulsa, and Ethel Hibbs and husband Sam Tisdale of Broken Arrow; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Henrietta Van Winkle.
