Funeral Services for Lemuel Samuel "Lee" Romine II, 80, of Tulsa, were held Tuesday December 30, 2008 at the St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Tulsa, OK. Father Tim Davison officiated and burial was in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.

Lee was born August 7, 1928 in Mammoth, Arkansas to Lemuel Samuel and Pearl Hester (Dunkerson) Romine. He passed away December 26, 2008 in Tulsa, OK.

He worked for American Airlines for 39 years in many departments. His last position was in metrology. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He was an Amateur Archeologist and an accomplished Beekeeper.

He is survived by his; wife, Bettye Romine of the home; sons, Chris Romine and wife Jan of Tulsa, Mark Romine and wife Sherry of Tulsa; daughters, Debbie Romine of .Tulsa, Vickie Romine of Tulsa; grandchildren Heather Ginn of Tulsa, Hillary Ginn of Tulsa, Michael Romine and wife Priscilla of Pryor, Morgan Romine of Tulsa, Matthew Romine of Tulsa; 4 great-grandchildren; brother Harold Romine and wife Shirley; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lemuel and Pearl Romine and 6 siblings.
