Funeral Services for Lela Ruth (Ebert) Kolb, 84, Tulsa were held on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at the Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry. The Rev. Albert Shults officiated and burial was in the Rock Falls Cemetery Cemetery at Braman. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home of Sperry. Shults, Wm. Wallace Roark, Lester B. Ebert, Sr., and Leon C. Moore. She was born on July 30, 1923 in Braman, Okla., to Glen Joseph and Lettie Ruth (Allen) Kolb. She died on July 19, 2008. She was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She grew up in northern Oklahoma and southern Kansas. She was a member of the Red Hat Ladies Society. She was always helping others and she will be dearly missed by all. Survivors include two daughters Julia Ann Shults and husband, Albert E. of Tulsa and Catherine Jeanette Walls of Tulsa; a daughter-in-law, Judith McElhaney of Modesto, Calif.three grandchildren, Kara Leigh Sturgeon of Tulsa, Matthew Douglas Shults and wife, Cady Summer Shaw of Tulsa and Louise Rose McElhaney Nunez and husband, Aristotle of Modesto, Calif.; four great grandchildren, Sarah Catherine Elizabeth Shults, Andrew Lonnie Edward Sturgeon, Zoe Mahal Nunez and Isobel Bebe Shults; a brother, Lester Boyd Ebert, Sr. of Blackwell, two sisters, Evelyn Grace Moore and husband Leon C. of Manteca, Calif., and Carol Yvonne Roark and husband, Dr. William W. of Brownwood, Texas; also many cousins, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry L. Kolb; a daughter, Charlotte Gwen McElhaney; a son, Jimmy Ray McElhaney; her parents, Glen and Lettie Ebert; three sisters, Velma G. Toni, Bonnie Dee Hamilton and E. Berneice Walters; two brothers, Melford V. Ebert and Orville Ebert; two sisters in laws, Pearl Ebert and Waneta Ebert; and two brothers in laws, James L. Walters, Sr. and Ralph Hamilton.
