Lavon Irene Evans

Funeral services for Lavon Irene (Robison) Evans, of Sperry, were held Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Reverend Dean Robison officiated and burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Casket bearers were Gene Evans, John Robison, Joey Arroyo, Dean Robison, and Rob Schyner.

Lavon was born June 22, 1920 in Catoosa, OK to George Washington and Luella Belle (Ellison) Robison. She passed away January 10, 2012 in Collinsville, OK at the age of 91.

Lavon was the second born of eleven children to George and Luella. She married George Everett Evans in 1937, remaining married until George’s passing on January 8, 1989. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Luella Robison; sister, Mary Louise; brothers, Glen, Lonzo, Levi, Marion, Robert, and Ray.; grandchildren, Becki Groppi, and Jerry Evans.
