Funeral services for Kolby Nicole Juby, 25, of Sperry, were held Friday, June 15, 2012 at First Baptist Church in Sperry, OK. Reverend Brandon McCombs and Reverend Andy Anquoe officiated and burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK.

Kolby was born July 11, 1986 in Claremore, OK to David Juby and Robyn Rae Smith-Juby. She passed away June 11, 2012 in Sperry, OK.

Kolby was of Osage and Cherokee descent. She attended Skiatook Elementary and graduated from Sperry High School in 2005. Kolby attended Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College and then Rogers State University where she played softball. Her background was in sports medicine as a trainer and cosmetology. Kolby loved all sports. Softball was her true love and she started playing at the age of 4. Kolby was an amazing pitcher, with a killer drop ball. She played softball, basketball and tennis at Sperry. Kolby was awarded All District Pitcher, All Conference Pitcher, All Region Pitcher, Defensive Player of the Year and All Star Player for pitching and 1st base. She loved doing hair and makeup. Kolby enjoyed cooking and watching cooking shows. She was an active member of the Kihekah Steh Club in Skiatook. Kolby loved watching her nephew, Gunnar, play soccer. She was the definition of a true OSU Fan. Kolby would have done anything for her sisters and family. She was a strong-willed and beautiful woman.

Kolby’s life changed forever on October 19, 2011. She welcomed into this world a handsome boy, Madden Charles Juby. Madden has been her pride and joy and main focus. She was a devoted stay at home mother.

She is survived by her son, Madden Charles Juby; mother, Robyn Smith-Juby of the home; father, David Juby and wife Denise of Sperry; sister, Marybelle Juby and boyfriend Blakely Cate of Owasso; brother-in-law, Richard Young of Collinsville; adopted sister, Laura Jackson and children Tyler Lane and Rylee Rae; grandmothers, Burny Hoskins of the home, Joan Juby of Sperry, and Armalee Smith of Wynona; nephew, Gunnar Calvin Ray Young of Collinsville; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Rayvn Rae Dean-Young; aunt, Julie Hoskins; uncle, Chad Allen Hoskins and Gail Ray Juby; grandfathers, Billy Joe Hoskins, Thomas Earl Smith, and Charles Levi Juby; and great-grandparents, White and Rose Greenleaf and Edith Juby.
