Memorial services for Kathryn Collene (Cleek) Wakely-Crain, 80, of Sperry, OK, were held Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Reverend Wayne Pauley officiated. Honorary Casket bearers were Josh Wakely, Brian Wakley, Jazmine Ayres, Eric Ayres.

Kathryn Collene (Cleek) Wakley-Crain was born August 19, 1940 in Oologah, OK to Joseph Ransom and Francis Susanna (Cockrum) Cleek. She passed away September 5, 2020 in Sperry, OK.

Kathryn was born at her home in Oologah and attended Roosevelt Elementary. Later in life, Kathryn was a waitress in several cities. She then became the bookkeeper for their family owned business AAA Auto Salvage, Sales and Repairs. She was also a great cook. Kathryn was always supportive of all of Bill’s endeavors. She really enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends.

She is survived by her sons, Joe Wakley, and Brian Wakley; daughter, Debbie (Wakley) Veale; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Crain; ex-husband, Charles Wakley; brothers, Floyd, Hosy, Raymond, Joe, and Ricky; sister, Faye; and parents, Joseph and Frances Cleek.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
