Kathleen Alice "Kathy" Teel

Kathleen Alice “Kathy” (McCann) Teel was born August 24, 1942 in Hinsdale, IL to Frank and Christine McCann. She passed into glory on April 11, 2020 in Tulsa, OK.

In 1965, Kathy married Alan Teel of Sperry. Together, they maintained that covenant relationship for nearly 55 years, until the time of her passing. From their union were born two children, Jeannie, and Timothy.

Besides being a devoted wife and mother, Kathy had been an elementary school teacher, head start teacher, gardener, rock collector and a lover of books. She had a real affection for children and animals. On the farm that Kathy and Alan worked for 20 years, she tended to chickens, rabbits, sheep, hogs, and cattle. She loved flowers and houseplants, and spent countless hours reading books to little children.

She is survived by her husband, Alan Teel; daughter, Jeannie and husband, Marc; son, Tim and wife, Brianna; three granddaughters; three grandsons; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by parents, Frank and Christine McCann; and sister, Sally.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
