Funeral Services for Judith Ann (Herron) Ruddock, 66, of Locust Grove, were held Saturday, September 13, 2008, at Shelter Free Will Baptist in Collinsville, OK. The Reverend Charles Brazeal officiated and burial was in the Wann Cemetery in Oologah, OK. Casketbearers were Brandon, Lee, Durand Messer, Wyatt Henderson, Cole Henderson, Angel Messer, Randall Messer, Jeremy Henderson. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
Judith was born June 4, 1942 in Tulsa, OK to Clarence J. and Wilma W. (Wright) Herron. She passed away September 11, 2008 in Topeka, KS.
She enjoyed life with her family. She spent most her life working as a Certified Medication Aide, specializing in geriatrics. She was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church in Topeka, KS. She enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, and singing.
She is survived by her husband, Ray C. Ruddock of Locust Grove; daughters, Linda Lee and husband Robert of Topeka, KS, Carol Zwiesler and husband Bob of Topeka, KS, Willa Messer and husband Rick of Roytown, MO; son Laney "Bubba" Messer, Jr. and wife Diane; 8 grandchildren, Brandon, Durand, Jeremy, Randal, Cole, Angel, Wyatt, and Skye; 10 great-grandchildren, Jadyn, Braden, Jordyn, Cameron, Kali, McKiya, Brooklin, Zander, Clayton, and MacKenzie; sister, Donna Brown and husband Allen of Collinsville; niece, Amy of Collinsville; nephew, Michael of Collinsville; many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilma and Clarence Herron; sister, Phylis Jo,and Elaine Herron; brother James E. Herron; maternal grandparents, Edward M. and Jettie Townsend Wright; and paternal grandparents, James, Sr. and Nevada Curtis Herron.
