Funeral services for Joseph Ronald “Ronnie Joe” Coyle, 63, of Skiatook, were held Wednesday September 22, 2010 at Community of Christ Church in Sperry, OK. Elder Roy Gaddy and Elder Charles Rowden officiated and burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Casket Bearers were Bill Park, Dick Cagle, Don Gaddy, Joe Romine, John Bailey, and Tommy Weathers. Honorary Casket Bearers were Gary Chappel, Gary Robbins, Tommie Romine, Bob Ridenour, and John Wayne Cloud. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
Joseph was born May 18, 1947 in Claremore, OK to Joseph Earl and Elsie (Tiger) Coyle. He passed away September 20, 2010 in Tulsa, OK.
He worked with the Tulsa World for 46 years as a contract hauler and journeyman mailer. He also worked in auto sales for several years. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, finding treasures at garage sales, fishing, drinking coffee at the Sperry Round Table and most recently spending time with his new companion Pat Dock. But most of all Ronnie enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his mother, Elsie Coyle of Skiatook; children, Jamie Wallace and husband John of Skiatook, Tamie McDermott and husband Andy of Rochester, NY, Ronnie Joe and wife Lynn of Green Bay, WI; grandchildren, Robert Chance Bushyhead of Sperry, Rachell (Wallace) Auten of Skiatook, Brayden Ronnie Coyle of Green Bay, WI; and one great-grandchild,. Madison Auten of Skiatook; brothers, Paul Coyle and wife Ann of Sperry, Donnie Coyle of Skiatook, Pat Coyle and wife Cindy of Sperry, Randy Coyle of Skiatook, Billy Coyle and wife Fancy of Aledo, TX, Bobby Coyle of Skiatook; sisters, Gayla Steele and husband Larry of Sperry, Beverly Ann Coyle-Harjo and husband Tim of Skiatook; numerous nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Coyle of Sperry.
