John Earl Smith, Jr.

Memorial Services for John Earl Smith, Jr., 56, of Tulsa, were held Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at the Tidings of Peace Baptist Church in Tulsa, OK. The Reverend Charles Sain officiated. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.

John was born June 15, 1957 in Bismark, ND to John Earl, Jr. and Emma Grace (Knowlen) Smith. He passed away January 14, 2014 in Tulsa, OK.

John worked as a butcher for Nordam. He enjoyed going camping, fishing, and hunting. John also liked playing cards with his mom. He loved his family very much and enjoyed spending as much time as he could with them. John was ornery and a jokester; always making people smile and laugh.

He is survived by his fiancée, Toni Puckett; step-daughter, Jessica Fulton; father, John Smith, Sr.; brothers, Terry Smith and wife, Patricia; and Skylar Smith; sisters, Tammy, Robbie, Robyn, Sherry, and Patti; numerous nieces, nephews; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Emma Smith; brother, Curtis Wayne Smith; and one nephew.
