Memorial services for John Kenneth Rucker, 69, of Inola, OK, were held Monday, July 29, 2024, at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Larry Voss officiated.

John, known to many as Kenny, was born on July 28, 1954, in Tulsa, OK, he was the beloved son of Johnny Marshall Rucker and Wilma Jean (Jeanie) Jones. He passed away on June 21, 2024, in Inola, OK.

Kenny spent his formative years in Claremore, with his parents, twin sisters, and brother. Kenny loved his family. Kenny graduated from Claremore High School in 1972. In 1979, he met Lydia Houser, and the two were married on August 27, 1982. They were blessed with three children. Kenny dedicated 40 years of his career to Ford as a parts salesman. Outside of work, he had a passion for horse racing, fishing, camping, and supporting the OU Sooners. He also cherished watching his daughter, Kenzi excel in basketball and softball, and he treasured the moments spent with his only grandson, Drake.

Kenny's legacy of love and dedication to his family will be remembered by all who knew him.

Kenny is survived by his daughters, Kenzi Rucker, and Deanna McClung; grandson, Drake Schuler; mother, Jeanie Jones and husband, Keith; sisters, Lisa Rucker and Teresa Francis and husband, Frank; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many other relatives and friends.

 He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Rucker; father, Johnny Rucker, and his brothers, Michael Rucker, Roger Rucker, and Shawn Jones.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
