John Thomas Mohn

Memorial services for John Thomas Mohn, 76, of Glenpool, were held Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Reverend Jason Cowan, Mr. John Cloud and Mr. Phillip Johnson officiated.

John was born August 1, 1940 in New York City, NY to John Jacob and Lenora (Knight) Mohn. He passed away October 16, 2016 in Glenpool, OK.

John was a proud veteran of the Vietnam War. Over the years, John held various jobs as a teacher, restaurant manager, and most recently a bus driver for Glenpool Public Schools.

He is survived by wife, Virginia Mohn of Glenpool; children, Tasha Saine-Morse of North Bend, OR, Michael Mohn of Bixby, Tabatha Mohn of San Francisco, CA, Bridget Hailey of Jenks, Jesse Cox of Smithville, TN, and Ashley Harris of Glenpool; 10 loving grandchildren; siblings, Roy Mohn, Mary Haas, Barbara Beck and Linda Bradley, all of NY; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lenora Mohn; sisters, Bernadette Brooks and Pat Knight.
