Private memorial services for Jody Ellen “Jodi” (Crosby) Flatt, 52, of Tulsa, OK, were held on Sunday, May 29, 2022, at the Clint Hills Heroes Gathering Place in Skiatook, OK.

Jodi was born November 7, 1969, in Laguna Beach, CA to Christina and Gary Crosby. She passed away on May 19, 2022, in Tulsa, OK.

Jodi grew up in both California and Texas before she settled down in Oklahoma. She had fond memories in all three locations and enjoyed telling everyone the stories of her life. Jodi enjoyed spending time with her two children and loved to travel when she could. She always had the best trivia and the most outgoing personality. She loved animals and enjoyed going to the zoo, aquarium, ocean, and any other location with an animal. Her dream was to cage dive with sharks. When her husband, Robert, “Bob”, passed in 2019, Jodi retreated into her little corner of Oklahoma and stayed there unless she was traveling.

Jodi campaigned with the Cherokee Nation over the course of many years and maintained the friendships that she made for most of her life. When she was not campaigning with the Cherokee Nation, she worked secretarial jobs in various law firms, where she would also meet and make lots of friends for life.

Jodi is survived by her two children, son, Brady Flatt of Tulsa, OK; daughter, Lacy LeMaster of Laguna Niguel, CA; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Flatt.
