JoAnn Ford was born August 31, 1934 in Webb City, OK to Doss Lewis and Inice Vivian (Epley) Thomas. She received her angel wings and went to heaven on December 6, 2011 in Skiatook, OK at the age of 77.

JoAnn received her education in Shidler, OK. Later in life, she attended Tri-County Tech in Bartlesville, OK where she received her LPN nursing degree. She worked at Jane Phillips Medical Center until her retirement in 1986. Jo Ann was married to Charles F. Vetters, they had two children, Charles Lewis Vetters and Karen Lea (Vetters) Widowski. They were married until his passing in 1981. She later met and married John R. Ford in 1986 and they were married until his passing in 2009. JoAnn loved RV’s and worked as a seasonal gate attendant at several core lakes, including Mesa Verde, CO, where she also worked in the Gift Shop. She enjoyed traveling, fishing, and family get-togethers. JoAnn loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Charles L. Vetters and wife Cassie of Skiatook, Karen L. Widowski and husband David of Skiatook, Judy Ford-Alexander of Bartlesville; grandchildren, Mandy Huddleston and husband John, Amy Stewart and husband, Sam, Teri Widowski, Charlie Vetters, Chance Vetters, Michelle Standlea and husband Jack; great-grandchildren, Ashley Huddleston, Tyler Huddleston, Jacob Huddleston, Christian Hayman, Samantha Hayman, Skyla Blackwell, Alaina Blackwell, and Mikayla Webb; expectant great-great grandchild, Sophia Danielle Huddleston; brother, Warren Thomas and wife Muriel of Shidler; nephews, Paul Thomas and wife Janis of Bartlesville, Mark Thomas of TX, and John Thomas of TX; great nephews, Josh Thomas and wife Jennifer of TX, and Andy Thomas of OK; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles F. Vetters; second husband, John R. Ford; daughter, Jonna Ford; son-in-law, Steve Alexander; parents, Doss and Inice Thomas; brother, Bob Thomas; and nephew, Kenny Thomas.
