Joan Kay Williamson

Memorial services for Joan Kay (Miller) Williamson, 77, of Skiatook, OK, were held Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Sperry Christian Church in Sperry, OK. Pastor Adam Stang officiated.

Joan was born May 18, 1942 in Tulsa, OK to Tyrus Raymond and Marcella Bell (Johnson) Miller. She passed away July 17, 2019 in Skiatook, OK.

Joan was a manager for Dairy Queen and a prep and fry cook for Tastee Freeze. She was a member of Sperry Christian Church. Joan loved animals but especially loved horses. She also loved working in the yard, reading, fishing, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Prestridge and husband Claude, and Tammy Adams and husband, Ray; son, Kenny Williamson; grandchildren, Misty Canal, Angie Williamson, Crystal Williamson, Jeremiah Prestridge and wife, Matese, Rose Davis and husband, Brandon, Amanda Prestridge and husband, Tom Zhang, Jarome Prestridge and wife Katie, Marion Prestridge, Samuel Prestridge, and Alice Prestridge; great-grandchildren, Jeremiah, Jordan, Dylan, Kingston, Talia, Paige, Noah, Mariposa, Susan, Anna, Josiah, Hezikiah, Abigail, Max, Noel, and Adam; sister, Carol Flatt and husband, Bill; brothers, David Miller and wife, Brenda and Donnie Miller and wife, Sandy; sisters-in-law, Helen Wilson and husband, Duane, Connie Williamson and Carrie Williamson; brothers-in-law, Don Williamson, and Eddie Williamson and wife, Lynett; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jarome Williamson; father, Tyrus “Ray” Miller; and mother, Marcella Miller.
