Memorial services for Jeremiah Jimmy “J.J.” Corley, 44, of Turley, OK, were held Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Sperry, Christian Church in Sperry, OK. Pastor Charles Conley officiated. Honorary Casket bearers were Jimmy Corley, Abigail Tarbet, Wyatt Tarbet, Baylie Corley, Jeremiah Corley, Emma Corley and Adaline Corley.
J.J. was born November 9, 1980, in Tulsa, OK, to Randy Eugene Corley, Sr. and Mary Kathleen (Lee) Spurgeon. He passed away December 24, 2024, in Tulsa, OK.
J.J. was a hardworking man who embraced life with enthusiasm and a can-do spirit. A jack of all trades, he worked across various industries and took pride in every endeavor. J.J. had a zest for life and a love for adventure. His presence was unmistakable—whether it was the sound of his music blaring as he pulled into a driveway or his infectious energy lighting up any gathering. He enjoyed mudding, fishing, and adding his personal touch to every vehicle he owned, often with a can of spray paint. Known for his knack for finding a great deal, J.J. was a savvy and resourceful buyer. J.J. also had a passion for racing, especially when he could share the experience with his dear friend Chris. J.J. was proud to be among the biggest Trump supporters, and even rode in the the Trump Train. Above all, he was a devoted and loving husband and father, deeply cherished by his wife and seven children. J.J. made an impact on everyone who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his wife, Patty Corley; children, Jimmy Corley, Wyatt Tarbet, Jeremiah Corley, Abigail Tarbet, Baylie Corley, Emma Corley, and Adaline Corley; grandchildren, Sophia and Kaiyah; brothers, Randy Corley and wife, Michelle and Daryl Owens; sister, Misty Ingalls and husband, Jason; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by parents, Randy Corley, Sr. and Mary Spurgeon; and sister, Wynema Hutchcraft.
Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
