Jenise Wood

Jenise (Stephens) Wood was born April 17, 1952 in Tulsa, OK, to Fred and Barbara Sue (Gaddy) Stephens. She passed away March 6, 2021 in Tulsa, OK.

Jenise worked for Claybrook’s Restaurant in Turley and was also a customer service representative and store manager for Binding Stevens Garden Center in Tulsa. Jenise was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sperry. Jenise loved to go fishing, but her greatest love was raising a family and she loved all her family.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Wood; son, Richard Wood, Jr.; daughter, Cheryl Hendricks; grandchildren, Ashley, Venessa, Nikie, Katy, Michael, Dillan, Kloe, Landon; great-grandchildren, Johnathon, Jessie and Haylee; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Barbara Stephens; sister, Robyn Lee; and nephew, Travis Ray Corley.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
