Memorial services for Jeffrey Lee “Jeff” Spencer, 59, of Tulsa, OK, were held Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Reverend Andy Henson officiated. Honorary Casket bearers were Johnathan Spencer, Chris Spencer, Bill Keeton, IV, Jose Castillo, Chris Leffler, Jr., Chris Wallace, Ivan Castillo, Ithan Castillo, Hunter Spencer, and Ian Castillo.

Jeff was born June 18, 1965, in Tulsa, OK to Jerry Wayne Spencer, Sr. and Karen Sue (McClain) Spencer. He passed away June 19, 2024, in Tulsa, OK.

Jeff was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. After his time in the Marines, Jeff became a butcher for Marvin’s IGA and Reasor’s stores. He also worked for the Refresco Cannery in Fort Gibson. He was raised in the Mannford, and lived in the Fort Gibson, Muskogee and Tulsa areas. Jeff enjoyed playing sports and ran track, played football, and was also on the wrestling team.

He is survived by his brother, Jerry Wayne Spencer, Jr. and wife, Debbie; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; stepmom, Paula Spencer; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, Justin Cody Spencer; father, Jerry Spencer, Sr.; mother, Karen Spencer; paternal grandparents, James and Opal Spencer; and maternal grandparents, Morris and Marie McClain.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
