Funeral services for Jearldine Thompson, age 72, of Sperry, were held on July 11, 2008 in the Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry. The Rev. Charles Rowden officiated and burial was in the Green Hill Cemetery at Sapulpa. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson

Honorary pallbearers were Michael Cook, Tony Cook, David Cook, David Newman, Tommy Bowdler and Dustin Thompson. She was born on May 12, 1936 in Tulsa to George and Anna (Vanwhy) Berry. She passed away on July 7, 2008. Jearldine had a passion for many things in life. She loved sewing, dancing and going to rodeos. She loved her family and friends dearly. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Jeri Lynn Bowdler and husband Tom of Wetumka, Gary Lee Perkins of Tulsa, Peggy Smith and husband Loyd of Holdenville, Allen Newman and wife Carmen of Sperry, Dustin Thompson of Tulsa, Amber Thompson of Tulsa and Tyler Thompson of Tulsa: brothers, Howard Berry of Inola, George Berry of Tulsa and Newton Berry of Nowata, 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews;
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert (Bob) Thompson; parents, George and Annie Berry; brothers, John Berry and Tom Berry; sister, Nadine Dugan.
