Jean Ellen Lentz

Memorial services for Jean Ellen (Haas) Lentz, 71, of Skiatook, were held Monday, February 26, 2018 at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Reverend Bill Taylor officiated. Honorary Casket bearers were Grant Vanorsdol, Chris Showalter, Sr., Michael Crank, Tommie Lentz, Christopher Showalter, Jr. and Brian Rooks.

Jean was born July 12, 1946 in Tulsa, OK to William Sidney Bell and Helen Elizabeth (White) Haas. She passed away February 21, 2018 in Skiatook, OK.

Jean and Tommie were the owners of the 11 & 20 Market in Skiatook for many years. She was a cancer survivor and brilliant homemaker who raised two beautiful daughters who loved her so. She was also a loving grandmother of four. Jean loved her Lord with unwavering faith and was a prayer warrior. Jean was a huge animal lover.

She is survived by her former husband, and best friend, Tommie Lentz of Bristow; children, Tammy Crank and husband Michael of Slick, and Lisa Showalter and husband Chris of Bristow; grandchildren, Grant Vanorsdol and Graycee Vanorsdol of Slick, Christopher Showalter and Jacob Showalter of Bristow; sisters, Jan Rooks of Skiatook, and Judye Morten of Coweta; nieces, Shannon Morten of Coweta and Kelley Huddleston of Skiatook; nephews, Michael Rooks of Skiatook and Brian Rooks of Skiatook; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Michael Haas; sister, Donna Lugsden; niece, Kristy Beth; parents, Bill and Elizabeth Haas; and best friends, Charlene Ray and Karen Williams.
