Funeral services for Jason Andrew Dean-Holcomb, 32, of Sperry, were held Monday, August 24, 2015 at Sperry Christian Church in Sperry, OK. Pastor Adam Stang and Jason’s wife, Misty Dean officiated and burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Casket bearers were Travis Dean, Tim West, Dustin Holcomb, Doug Steele, Cole Holcomb, and Casey Holcomb. Honorary casket bearers were Gene Holcomb and Floyd Kessler.

Jason was born August 25, 1982 in Claremore, OK to Sandra K. (Hackney) Holcomb and is now our forever Rising Warrior.

Jason was a mechanic at Melton Sales. He enjoyed spending time with his kids, going camping, spending time outside and riding the 4-wheeler. If you know Jason, you know that he loved football and his team was the Pittsburg Steelers. He was a momma’s boy, as his brothers call him. Some of his best memories were with his close friends shooting Big Daddy 69. Jason loved being a fireman until his Evan’s Syndrome caused health problems.

He is survived by his wife, Misty Dean; children, Symeon Verrett, Kaleb Dean, and Haley Dean; mother, Sandy Holcomb; father, Gene Holcomb; brothers, Travis Dean and wife Amber Masingale, Dustin Holcomb and wife Bri, Cole Holcomb and fiancé Allison Wheeler, and Kameron Dean; sister, Sharay Henry and husband Ron; sister-in-law, Kathy Holcomb; nieces Andrea, Marissa, and Madisen; nephews, Jackson Holcomb, Ronnie, Shane, Luke, Cody Holcomb and wife Ashley, Casey Holcomb and fiancé Casey Smith, and Jimmy Lee Goldesberry and family; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, great-nieces and other loved ones.

Other: Donald Dean Jr., Kristen McCuistion, Wes McCuistion, Stephanie Sloan, and Keri Smock.

He was preceded in death by his baby, Morgan; brother, Michael Holcomb; and grandmother, Luggie Reed.
