Funeral Services for James Roy Pigg, 89, of Owasso, were held Saturday, January 11, 2014 at the Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. The Pastor Jerry Harper officiated and burial was in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Casket Bearers were Lloyd Giles, Roy McClean, Leon Giles, Danny Hansen, Andy McClain, and James Earl Gross. Honorary Casket Bearers were JW Dugan, Dustin Barker, Chris Jordan and Kelly Twomey. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
James was born May 9, 1924 in Hackett, AR to Andrew and Eva Evaline (Williams) Pigg. He passed away January 8, 2014 in Owasso, OK.
James was a retired plumber and a door greeter at Wal-Mart. He loved and enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, watching old western movies, and riding his tractor. James also loved his beloved dog, Gracie, and tending to his cows.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Pigg; son, Jim Pigg and wife Erainia; grandchildren, Melissa Pigg and Ashley Pigg, Dustin Baker and Stacy Baker, and Amber Jordan; seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Eva Pigg; and sisters, Susie Leonard and Myrtle Bueller.
