James Clint Lang

Funeral services for James Clint Lang, 66, of Skiatook, OK, were held Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Pastor RC Lee officiated. Honorary Casket bearers were Derrick Lang, Justin Glover, Clifford Lang, Trae “Sherman, III” Wilde. Seth Lang and Gregory Dillard.

James, known by everyone as Clint, was born November 22, 1957, in Tulsa, OK, to Stanley H. “Jake” Lang and Geneva Mae (Scott) Lang. He passed away July 22, 2024, in Tulsa, OK.

Clint was a 4th generation Lang bricklayer. He was a proud father of four, and grandfather of 10; they were his pride and joy. Clint loved anything outdoors, bikes, swimming, skiing, fishing, and camping. He had such a big heart, and he would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He will be missed by his family and friends, and never be forgotten.

He is survived by his children, Derrick Lang and wife, Brandee, Justin Glover and wife, Ashley, Renee Terrell and husband, Gregory, and Clifford Lang and wife, Krista; grandchildren, Jayzen, Jayley, Jaynick, Hailey, Kayden, James, Karsyn, Chevy Reed, and Trace; father, S.H. “Jake” Lang of Tulsa; sisters, Joy (Lang) Snow of Dallas, GA and Cindy (Lang) Wilde of Tulsa; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Geneva Scott Lang; and niece, Sheran Hart Wilde.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
