Funeral Services for Jackie Lee Francis, 69, of Tulsa, were held Wednesday April 8, 2009 at the Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. The Reverend Jajuan Love officiated and burial was in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Casket Bearers were Larry Bob Amos, Govnor Francis, Sammie Jo Francis, Jacob Francis, Nathan Watts and Lindel Fields. Honorary Casket Bearers were Alfred Fetterhoff, Larry Amos, Bill Robinson, David Hayes, Wayne Henson and Jay Robinson. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.

Jackie was born September 8, 1939 in Tulsa, OK to Lindel and Ethel Marie (Widner) Francis. He passed away April 5, 2009 in Tulsa, OK.

He was a shop superintendent for Heat Exchangers. He was an avid sports fan, especially of OU, the Dallas Cowboys, and of Nascar Racing. He never met a stranger. He was a very devoted father, beloved brother, and a thoughtful, loving husband.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Francis of Turley; children, Jack Francis, Jr. of Tulsa, Theresa McClure and husband Dean of Claremore, and Pamela May of FT. Worth, TX; step-children, Debbie Hayes and husband David, Romona Henson and husband Wayne, and Todd Helms; sister, JoAnn Amos and husband Larry of Turley; brother, Jimmy Francis and wife Barbara of Ochelata; 6 grandsons, 2 granddaughters; 5 step-granddaughters; 2 great-granddaughters; and a host of many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Francis; sister, Sharon Francis; and parents, Lindel and Ethel Francis.
