Howard Russell Gosser

Funeral Services for Howard Russell Gosser, 86, of Disney, were held Thursday, February 25, 2010 at the Remnant Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Sperry, OK. Elder Roger Tracy officiated and burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.

Howard was born February 3, 1924 in Tulsa, OK to Howard Barney and Ethel Nora (Reed) Gosser. He passed away February 21, 2010 at the age of 86 years, 0 months, and 19 days old.

He worked for American Airlines for 31 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an Elder at the Remnant Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was a devout Christian, who worked for many years at church camp witnessing to and visiting with people. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Gosser of the home; son, John Howard Gosser of Viginia; sister, Mildred Gurley of Tulsa; grandsons, Eric Gosser of Ardmore, OK and Woody Gosser of Dallas, TX and a host of relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
