Helen LaVonne Prater-Nall

Funeral Services for Helen LaVonne Prater-Nall, 61, of Turley, were held Monday, December 8, 2008 at the Sperry United Pentecostal Church in Sperry, OK. The Reverend Kevin Erickson officiated and burial was in the Blue Jacket Cemetery in Bluejacket, OK. Casket Bearers were David Gene Seabolt, Zeke Huff, Chuckie Nall, Johnny Busby, Cecil Busby, Roger Busby, and Jerry Alvin Ortwein. Honorary pallbearers were Raymond Seabolt and Ben and Dakota Huff. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.

Helen was born March 5, 1947 in Tulsa, OK to David and Sara Lucille (Williams) Seabolt. She passed away December 5, 2008 in Tulsa, OK.

She was raised in the Turley Children's Home and was a lifelong Turley resident. She graduated from McLain High School and later went on to become a beautician. She loved to go dancing and fishing. The biggest love of her life was spending time with her grandchildren and husband Norman.


She is survived by her daughter, Jeannie Huff and husband Zeke of Collinsville; sons, Darrell Whiteside of Arkansas, Robert Nall of Arkansas, and Chuckie Nall of Tulsa; grandchildren, Jacqueline Santos and husband Jeff, Mara Whiteside, Caleb Whiteside, Carson Whiteside, Benjamin Huff, and Dakota Huff; mother, Lucille Busby of Tulsa; brothers and sisters, David Gene Seabolt and wife Beverly of Devine, TX, Raymond Seabolt and wife Kathy of Mazie, OK, Jerry Alvin Ortwein and wife Linda of Sand Springs, Johnny Busby of Tulsa, Roger Busby of Tulsa, Cecil Busby of Tulsa, Patricia Ann Pullen of Choteau, Donna Leroy and Oscar Myers of Tulsa, Theresa Hinton of LaKelley, LA, DeeDee Collins of Sperry, Sharlene Christian and husband Fred of Pryor, Connie Seabolt of California, and Dianna Seabolt of California, many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman L. Nall; first husband, Darrell R. Whiteside; dad, David Seabolt; step-mom, Ruth Seabolt; and brother Wayne Busby.
