Helen Camille “Cami” Mayabb was born December 22, 1957 in Corpus Christi, TX to Virgil Ray and Martha Jean (Jimerson) Mayabb. She passed away October 7, 2013 at the age of 55 years, 9 months, 16 days.
Cami started grade school in Hobbs, NM and graduated from high school in Miami, OK. She attended college at NEO, Claremore Jr. College, University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State University, and the University of Tulsa. Cami was the office manager and bookkeeper for Boswell Jewelry Store, Cort Furniture, and Avis Car Rental. Cami loved spending time with her mom, jewelry shopping, reading books and watching movies. "Gone With The Wind" was her favorite movie. She was also an avid animal lover with two dogs named Tara and Melody and a parrot named Rhett that would talk just like her.
She is survived by her father, Virgil Mayabb and wife Linda; sister, Kathy Woodard and husband Steve; aunts, Patricia Bell of Eden Prairie MN; nieces and nephews, Necia Woodard, Lilly Woodard, Alicia Woodard, Carter Woodard, Isabella Woodard, Austin Woodard, Leroy Neal and Micki Neal and Avery Neal; numerous cousins, and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jean Mayabb; uncle, Donald Bell; and grandparents, Fred and Margurite Jimerson, and Frank and Helen Mayabb.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations in Cami's memory be made to Ward-Wiseman Animal Haven, PO BOX 795, Collinsville, OK 74021.
