Funeral services for Harold Wayne Burton, 86, of Turley were held Tuesday February 8, 2011 at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Dr. Chet Veazey officiated and burial was in Green Acres Cemetery in Skiatook, OK.
Harold was born November 14, 1924 in Washington, OK to Charles Gordon and Lottie (Fox) Burton. He passed away February 2, 2011 in Sperry, OK.
Harold retired from Bethlehem Steel Co. after many years of service as a warehouse manager and salesman. He loved to play dominoes.
He is survived by his son, Randy Burton of Tulsa; sisters, Norma Jean Ivey and husband Bob of Oklahoma City, and Lucille Woods of Noble; nieces, Susan Lynch of Tulsa, Theta Gail Lynch, Wilma Stuart, Sue Peery, and Glenna Joe Stark all of Oklahoma City; and a host of many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Allene Chandler, and Arneta Thompson; and parents, Charles and Lottie Burton.
