Funeral Services for Ginger Lyn (Turner) Lovan, 36, of Collinsville, were held Saturday, December 6, 2014 at the Owasso First Assembly of God in Owasso, OK. The Pastor Bruce McCarty and Pastor David Hert officiated and burial was in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Casket Bearers were Eric Kerns, Michael Coghill, Scott Dilly, and Wayne Ford. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.

Ginger was born August 12, 1978 in Tulsa, OK to William James “Jim” and Mary Sue (Beverly) Turner. She passed away November 26, 2014 in Broken Arrow, OK.

Ginger was a follower of Christ, a loving wife and a wonderful mother. She was compassionate and loved by many. Ginger was a member of Owasso First Assembly of God, a missionary, and the director and founder of the King’s Cross School in Haiti. She was a foster mom and a teacher. Ginger helped save several families adoptions, trained teachers and gave over 180 children an education they were deprived. She helped serve over 90,000 meals over the last 3 years and showed the love of Christ to an entire community.

She is survived by her husband, Jason Lovan; children, Cora Lovan, Emma Lovan, Brayden Lovan, Katie Graham, Robenson Cajuste, and Vedline Mejustin; brother, Bryan Turner and wife Samantha; sisters, Susan Coghill and husband Michael, and Candy Kerns and husband Eric; aunts, Carol Smith and husband Kerry, Nancy Matlock and husband Matt, Alice Beverly, and Eileen Creamer and husband Paul; uncles, Billy Ray Turner, Harvey Beverly and wife Sharon, and Frank Beverly and wife Cheryl; grandmothers, Eleanor Turner and Sharon Beverly; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Mary Turner; grandparents, Schuyler Turner, Kenneth Beverly, and Burnadean Beverly; aunt, Connie Mae; uncles, Schuyler Wayne Turner, Douglas Allen Turner, and Roger Lee Turner.
