Gerrie Hill

Funeral services for Gerrie (Woods) Hill, 75, of Owasso, OK, were held Friday, April 15, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Mr. Phillip Johnson officiated and burial was in Osage Gardens Cemetery in Skiatook, OK. Casket bearers were Homer Garrison, Roger Hulvey, Joe Dunaway, Dakota Hulvey, Daniel Barnes, and Kevin Jackson.

Gerrie was born June 24, 1940 in Foyil, OK to Roy Olan and Bessie Ann (Hillard) Woods. She passed away April 11, 2016 in Tulsa, OK.

Gerrie worked for FO-MAC, Inc., Blue Cross and Blue Shield, was a microfilm processor for PSO in Tulsa and was the Treasurer for the Turley Round-Up Club. She loved to dance and listen to country music, and going camping and fishing. Gerrie was happiest when she was at the lake with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Al Hill of Turley; daughters, Debie Jackson and husband Kevin of Rose and Pam Barnes of Tulsa; son, Robert Orton of Rose; granddaughters, Heather Dunaway and husband Joe of Owasso, Laura Mancuso and husband John of Ft. Worth, TX and Misty Campbell of Oklahoma City; grandsons, Roger Hulvey of Chouteau and Dakota Hulvey of Rose; great-grandsons, Michael, Matthew, Nathan and Carson; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her loving first husband, Bob Orton; parents, Roy and Bessie Woods; brothers, Charles Woods and Ronnie Woods; and sisters, Sue Deerinwater and Irene Barnes.
