George Wayne Walden

George Wayne Walden, 82, of Sperry, OK was born April 10, 1938 in Tulsa, OK to Clarence William and Edith Verden (Lynch) Walden. He passed away May 1, 2020 in Sperry, OK.

George enjoyed fishing, hunting, and going to the casino. He worked for the Tulsa Water Department, and was a custodian for Tulsa Public Schools,  in addition to owning his own masonry business. He was also a truck driver for Mistletoe and J.B. Hunt.  George enjoyed spending time with his family and his dog, Chewy.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Walden; son, Steven Walden; daughters, Sherry Suarez, and Lisa Risley; four foster children; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Richard Walden; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Walden; and parents, Clarence and Edith Walden.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
