Funeral services for George Phillip “Bubba” Brown III, of Sperry, were held Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at Osage Oaks Church of God in Sperry, OK. Reverend Doyle Ginn officiated and burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Casket bearers were Gary Sutherland and cousins. Honorary casket bearers were the Country Corner Fire Department.

George was born April 4, 1977 in Teague, TX to George Phillip, Jr. and Diana Lee (Wilkinson) Brown. He passed away October 7, 2011 in Sperry, OK at the age of 34.

George was a First Responder for the Country Corner Fire Department. He worked as a welder, a tattoo artist, and served in the United States Navy. George was also a member of the Masons. He enjoyed going fishing, camping, and hunting. George loved being with his wife and children, and loved helping others.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Brown; children, Seleanna Brown, Skyler Cochren, Travor Brown, Ethan Brown, Presley Brown, Gabriel Brown, and Veronica Brown; mother, Diana Brown; sister, Kimberly Sutherland and husband Gary; half-sister, Kimberly Bell; aunts, Cindy DeGase, Rose McCause, Tonda Wilkinson, and Bonnie Talley; uncles, Daniel DeGase, Larry Brown, and Roger Brown and wife Renee; nieces, Ashley Sutherland and McKenzie Bell; nephew, Joshua Sutherland; grandfather, Daniel Wilkinson, and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, George Phillip Brown, Jr.; grandmother, Ester C. Wilkinson; and cousin, Erica Davis.
