Garry Lynn Morris

Memorial services for Garry Lynn Morris, 51, of Tulsa, OK, were held Friday, February 5, 2021 at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Phillip Johnson officiated. Honorary Casket bearers were Joey Crussel, Paul Stephen Schaffin, Stuart Reeves, Parker Gaynor, David “Cotton” Galvan, Ronnie Dunigan, Carl Geiger, Clint Gruenwald, James Dry, Rick Cannon, Joshua Morrison and Tony Curato.

Garry was born May 13, 1969 in Elaine, AR to Robert Morris and Marie Louise (Galvin) Faust. He passed away January 24, 2021 in Tulsa, OK.

Garry attended Sand Springs Public Schools, playing football in 10th &11th grades for the Sandites. He was a spelling bee champion in the 3rd grade. Garry married Jai (Crussel) Morris on March 25, 1990 and together, they had three daughters. He worked for Yale Cleaners for 8 years. Garry enjoyed landscaping, football, hanging out with family and friends, taking care of the ones he loved, and living life on the edge.

He is survived by his children, Heather Lewis, Miranda Morris, Katie Acosta, Harley Self and Peyton Baker; 3 grandsons; 2 granddaughters; mother, Marie Faust; brothers, Ronnie and David; sisters, Tammy and Tina ; nieces, Ivy Crussel, Maddy Gaynor, Neveah Botello, and Bella Crussel; nephew, Parker Gaynor; brother-in-law, Joey Crussel; sister-in-law, Jennifer Crussel; father-in-law, Gene Crussel; lifelong friends, Daniel “Skyrider”, Carl Geiger and Clint Gruenwald; ex-wife, Jai Morris; ex-girlfriends, Julie Baker and Tammy Self; and a host of many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Morris; mother-in-law, who was more like a second mom, Barbara Ann Crussel; grandson, Rylyn Marshall; and nephew, Cameron Botello.
