Garry Allen "Doc" Domres

Funeral Services for Garry Allen “Doc” Domres, 59, of Tulsa, were held Monday, May 12, 2014 at the Domres Residence in Sperry, OK. Chiefy Tiger officiated and burial was in the Charley Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Casket Bearers were Garry’s family and friends. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.

Garry was born November 24, 1958 in Tulsa, OK to Leonard Eugene, Sr. and Etta Me (Washington) Domres. He passed away May 8, 2014 in Tulsa, OK.

Garry, also known as “Doc”, last worked as a truck driver. Before that, he worked for the Tulsa World for 10 years. Garry was a loving husband and father who had a big heart, loved everyone, and was loved by many. He loved meeting new people and would never turn anyone away. He always said “everyone has a story”. Doc loved joking around with everyone and loved living on Bird Creek. His daughter Chris meant the world to him and if anyone could get his attention, it was Chris. Garry loved life and lived life to the fullest. If you knew Garry, you know that he was ‘One in a million”. He is truly being missed.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Noah; daughter, Christina Dillon; brothers William Domres and wife Kim, and Leonard Domres, Jr. and wife Joy; sisters, Sherry Prickett and husband Mark, and Rebecca Gordon and husband Kenneth; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Sr. and Etta Domres.
