Funeral services for Frances Rose (Wahleitner) Rusch-Watts, of Tulsa, were held Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Mr. Phillip Johnson officiated and a private family committal followed. Honorary Casket Bearers were John Paul, Glenna Paul, Linda Hardin, Jim Turner, Kimberly Lowe, Scott Tibbits, and Brian Turner.
Frances was born December 8, 1942 in Milwaukee, WI to John and Verna (Krause) Wahleitner She passed away September 26, 2012 in Skiatook, OK at the age of 69.
Frances was talented in many areas. She was a Beach Patrol officer of the Jacksonville, Florida area, a store clerk at Vicker’s in Turley, and a cafeteria attendant at Cherokee Elementary in Turley. Frances was also a staff member at the SPCA in Tulsa, a groundskeeper and Wildlife Protection Attendant at Skiatook Lake. She was then a homemaker after working for many years, and was a breast cancer survivor. Frances was known by many in the Turley area as “Mom”. She enjoyed going fishing, playing bingo, and crocheting. Frances also loved baking and planning family get-togethers.
She is survived by her children, Linda Hardin of Topeka, KS and Glenna Paul of Tulsa; sons-in-law, Scott Tibbits and Johnathan Paul; grandchildren, Rose Rusch, Kimberly Lowe, Michael Tibbetts, Zepplin Tibbits, Brooke Paul, Hunter Paul, Jade Paul, Autumn Paul; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Verna Wahleitner; and sister, Joan Wahleitner.
